North Dakota Center for Hosts Second Annual Conference

The North Dakota Center for Nursing recently hosted its second annual conference, titled “Nursing’s Role in Transforming Health and Healthcare.”

Nearly one hundred nurses were in attendance at the conference, held in West Fargo, ND.

The conference kicked off with a keynote panel featuring Darleen Bartz, PhD, APRN from the North Dakota Department of Health, Jayme Steig, PharmD, RPh, from Quality Health Associates of North Dakota, and Alicia Hauff, DNP, FNP-BC, from Family Health Care.

The conference also featured a poster session featuring over a dozen posters from across North Dakota. Following the presentations, attendees voted for their favorite posters. The winners are as follows:

First Place:

Strategic Planning Session

On April 1st the ND Center for Nursing hosted a successful strategic planning session as we examined all of the progress the Center has made during our first five years and started forming the strategic plan for the next five years through 2023.  The Center is restricting our volunteer efforts.
