Hoeven Announces Nearly $220,000 Grant For Center For Rural Health At UND

WASHINGTON – Senator John Hoeven, a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded $219,036 to the Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota (UND). The funds will be used to support the center’s Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program which helps provide education and clinical opportunities for health professional students.

“Today’s HRSA grant will help ensure the Center for Rural Health’s AHEC program can continue to give health care professional students more opportunities to learn and develop their skills,” Hoeven said.
