Legislative Update

The ND Center for Nursing actively monitors legislation that impacts the nursing workforce and the healthcare system as determined through priorities by our ND Center for Nursing Leadership Team and organizational members.  Interim Legislative Update calls will be held at 12:00 PM CST:

  • September 8, 2017
  • November 3, 2017
  • March 9, 2018
  • May 11, 2018
  • September 14, 2018
  • November 9, 2018

We will post the legislative update during the week of each call.

Policy Briefs

The ND Center for Nursing utilizes a decision making process to determine policy issues that are of importance across the 40+ nursing organizations across the state. See below for our current policy briefs. All nurses and nursing organizations are encouraged to utilize these policy briefs within their organizations and when developing testimony and other legislative actions.
