Minot nurse celebrating five decades of caring for her community

A golden anniversary is a cause for celebration.

Dianne Freed’s career in nursing began at a Minot hospital, and led to a life of fulfillment.

As a child, Dianne dreamed of one day becoming a nurse.

“I’m doing something that I love to do and that keeps me going,” Dianne said.

Now, she’s celebrating 50 years of service to her hometown, including time at St. Joseph’s Hospital, the job corps, and now Northland Community Health Center.

“Nursing is my life and my love, and it’s wonderful to be able to do something I love in a community that I love,” Dianne said.
