Three members of the nursing leadership team at Bethany Retirement Living have completed training and certification programs as Infection Preventionists.  They are Tiffeny Hestdalen, Director of Nursing at Bethany on 42nd, Alyssa Blumler, Director of Nursing at Bethany on University, and Kelli Seeger, Director of Quality and Education.

The programs they completed include the Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training Course through the Centers for Disease Control, the CMS Targeted COVID-19 Training for Nursing Home Management through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the Infection Preventionist Basic Bootcamp for Long Term Care Facilities through Pathway Health Services.

Their expertise will enable Bethany Retirement Living to better identify pathogens and their spread, and develop procedures for the prevention, containment and treatment of infection.
