The ND Center for Nursing invites all nurses and nursing students to Nurses Week at the Legislature 2021 from January 25th- January 29th.  Participants can choose to participate in one or multiple days during this important week.

The agenda for each day will be the same, but the hearings, bills and discussion will be different each day as we will be watching live stream committee hearings and floor sessions together.

Each day will start with an introduction to the legislative process, key nursing legislation and an opportunity to hear from nurses engaged in advocacy work.  We will follow legislative hearings of interest during the rest of the morning. During lunch, pre-recorded videos include the stories of ND nurses and their advocacy experiences.  The afternoon will feature the Senate and House floor sessions.

Dr. Patricia Moulton, the Executive Director of the ND Center for Nursing and committee members will be providing narration during the entire day and there will be opportunities for participants to interact throughout the day.
