Advocacy Frequently Asked Questions

Below are a list of FAQ’s to answer commonly asked questions on advocacy, policy, government and legislation. Click on the text of each question to learn more.

You can find out who your legislator is by clicking this link and entering your house number and zip code. The website will give you a list of addresses to choose from. Once you pick your address, you will find a list of your Senator and your Two Representatives for your legislative district.

The list of committee assignments is different for interim and legislative sessions. For the current, 65th legislative session, the committee lists can be found at

Go to the main ND Legislative website and in the upper right hand corner, there is a Send Me to Bill No. (9999) box. Enter the bill number in the box.

Go to voteND.Gov. Here you will find FAQs, an election calendar, search for your ballet, election laws and information about voter ID requirements.
