Description: Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health is looking for a 20 hour a week part-time nurse to provide home visits for The Nurse Family Partnership Program (NFP).  The NFP nurse home visitor is responsible for providing comprehensive community health nursing services to eligible women and their families.   The NFP nurse supports and promotes health through delivery of client centered intensive home visitation and case management services, with a focus on improved pregnancy outcomes, improved child health and development, positive parenting and family self-sufficiency.  Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to perform nursing services as assigned.

As an employee of Public Health must participate in emergency preparedness response activities and report during a public health emergency or disaster situation.

Education, Experience, & Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Registered Nurse licensed in the state of North Dakota.

Special Requirements: Two years’ recent experience in maternal/child health and lactation. Must have vehicle for use while on duty. Possession of valid driver’s license.

Miscellaneous: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorships considered. Subject to background checks.

Salary & Benefits

Hiring Pay Range: $26.07 - $29.33/Hour
